Swami Bharat Bhushan Ji is the first Indian Yog Guru to be honored by Padma shri award in 1991 at an early age of 39 years by the President of India Dr. R. Venkata Raman and is also honored by D. Lit an honorary degree in year 2014.

So is the life journey of Yog Guru Padmashri Bharat Bhushan ji who spread and taught Yoga in over 70 countries including America, Australia, South Africa, China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. He founded Mokshayatan International Yogashram in Saharanpur in the year 1973 to promote yoga and also is the convener of International Yoga Festival held by Indian government every year in Rishikesh.

He has also been honored with Awadh Samman- "life time Achievement Award" on behalf of Indian channel Zee news and "life time Achievement Award" given by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science) and AYUSH Ministry of Health. Other titles to his kitty include Arjun Shri, Pratap Shri of India, Yog Chakravorty, Yog Tarni, Modern Vivekanand and Yog Martand. He has been bodybuilding contender at early age of his life and won Mr. India title also known as first vegetarian Mr. India.
